আইরিশ বাংলাপোষ্ট ডেস্কঃ এ বছর করোনাভাইরাস মহামারীর কারণে সীমিত পরিসরে হজ অনুষ্ঠিত হলেও এখনও পর্যন্ত কোনও হাজী প্রাণঘাতী এই ভাইরাসে সংক্রমিত হননি। এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে সৌদি আরবের স্বাস্থ্য মন্ত্রণালয়।
মন্ত্রণালয়ের সহকারী মন্ত্রী ডা. মুহাম্মদ আল-আবদালি জানান, হাজীদের করোনায় আক্রান্তের কোনও ঘটনা ঘটেনি। জনস্বাস্থ্যের ওপর প্রভাব ফেলতে এমন রোগেও কেউ সংক্রমিত হননি।
দেশটির স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের মুখপাত্র লেফটেনেন্ট কর্নেল তালাল আল-শালহুব জানিয়েছেন, হাজীরা আরাফার ময়দানে দাঁড়ানো থেকে শুরু করে মুজদালিফায় অবস্থান পর্যন্ত সব কিছু নিরাপদে, সুরক্ষিত অবস্থায় এবং প্রশান্তির সঙ্গে সব আনুষ্ঠানিকতা পালন করেছেন।
ইসলাম ধর্মের পাঁচ স্তম্ভের অন্যতম- হজ পালনে, সৌদি আরবের নাগরিকসহ ১৬০ দেশের মুসল্লি প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেন সারা বিশ্বের কোটি মুসলিমের। বৃহস্পতিবার পশু কোরবানির পর, কাবা শরীফ তাওয়াফ ও সাফা-মারওয়া পাহাড় সাতবার প্রদক্ষিণ শেষে শেষবারের মতো মিনায় শয়তানকে পাথর নিক্ষেপ করেন হাজীরা। ১১ ও ১২ জিলহজ সেখানে অবস্থান করে শেষ করেন বাকি আনুষ্ঠানিকতা। পাঁচদিনব্যাপী হজ শুরু হয় গেল মঙ্গলবার। বৃহস্পতিবার আরাফাতের ময়দানে হয় মূল আনুষ্ঠানিকতা। Toggle panel: Post Settings
