আইরিশ বাংলাপোষ্ট ডেস্কঃ লিটারে ১৫ টাকা করে বেড়েছে ডিজেল ও কেরোসিনের দাম। নতুন দাম ভোক্তা পর্যায়ে ৬৫ টাকা থেকে বাড়িয়ে ৮০ টাকা করা হয়েছে। রাত ১২টা থেকে কার্যকর হবে এ দাম।
বুধবার (৩ নভেম্বর) রাতে বিদ্যুৎ, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ মন্ত্রণালয়ের সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়।
ডিজেল ও কেরোসিনের দাম বাড়ানোর বিষয়ে বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, আন্তর্জাতিক বাজারে জ্বালানি তেলের দাম ঊর্ধ্বগতির কারণে ভারতসহ বিশ্বের অন্যান্য দেশ তেলের দাম সমন্বয় করছে। গত ১ নভেম্বর ভারতে ডিজেলের বাজার মূল্য লিটার প্রতি ১২৪ দশমিক ৪১ টাকা বা ১০১ দশমিক ৫৬ রুপি ছিল। আর বাংলাদেশে ডিজেলের মূল্য প্রতি লিটার ৬৫ টাকা অর্থাৎ ৫৯ দশমিক ৪১ টাকা কম।
বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে আরও বলা হয়, বর্তমান ক্রয় মূল্য বিবেচনা করে বাংলাদেশ পেট্রোলিয়াম করপোরেশন (বিপিসি) ডিজেলে লিটার প্রতি ১৩ দশমিক ০১ টাকা কমে বিক্রি করছে। অপরদিকে ফার্নেস অয়েল বিক্রি করছে লিটার প্রতি ৬ দশমিক ২১ টাকা কমে। এতে করে প্রতিদিন প্রায় ২০ কোটি টাকা লোকসান দিচ্ছে বিপিসি।
অক্টোবর মাসে বিভিন্ন গ্রেডের পেট্রোলিয়াম পণ্য বর্তমান দামে সরবরাহ করায়, বাংলাদেশ পেট্রোলিয়াম করপোরেশনের মোট ৭২৬ কোটি ৭১ লাখ টাকা লোকসান হয়েছে বলে জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ বিভাগ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে।
এই প্রেক্ষাপটে ডিজেল ও কেরোসিনের দাম পুনর্নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে জানিয়ে সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, জ্বালানি ও খনিজ সম্পদ বিভাগের ২০০৮ সালের ২২ ডিসেম্বর জারি করা প্রজ্ঞাপন এবং এ সংক্রান্ত সময় সময় জারি করা সংশোধনীসহ অন্যান্য সব বিষয় অপরিবর্তিত থাকবে।
